SHORT WEEK!

We continue our study of Industry and Urban Growth. J.P.Morgan and the concepts of a monopoly will be explored and students will have a Pro/Con activity to work on with a partner in class. We continue to read, at home, from our history books. Pages 619-624 need to be read by the end of the week. Notes are to be taken and kept in a notebook. These notes are used to help with any quizzes we may have and we will have one this week!

Homework

Current event is due 11/2. Please recall that the assignment asks for two paragraphs of OPINION and it must be current. Sat., Sun., or Monday news.
Geography-Batter Up- is due Thurs. 11/4

We will explore Industry and Urban Growth, chapter 18, this week as last week found us still having fun with the Constitution!
Student's need to read and work on the chapter notes at home every evening. The questions will be due at the end of the unit and we will have pop quizzes that will deal with the various readings.

Constitution Test Thursday, October 14th
