We will be working on a Pro/Con packet dealing with the Equal Rights Amendment. Students will work in a group reading information regarding both sides of this issue and answering questions and giving their opinions.
We will watch the film, Twelve Angry Men, this week to give us a better understanding of our Judicial system.
We will also finish an Upfront Magazine activity from last week. One paragraph reflection for each article that was read. Four articles were assigned.
In addition to the usual homework, students will have a crossword puzzle due on Friday.

Lit. Skills
We will read chapters 10-12 this week. Students are to illustrate any two scenes from chapters 6-12 and write a few sentences of descriptions.
Everyone should be working on their packet. There are chapter questions and summaries due when we finish reading the novel.
Students are encouraged to take AR tests for their personal reading books.
